Available in two different concentrations. One strength contains 200 mg per mL and one strength contains 500 mg per mL.

THIAMINE 200

Each mL Contains:

• Thiamine Hydrochloride 200mg
• Disodium Edetate 0.01%w/v
• Benzyl Alcohol 1.5%w/v
• Water for Injection q.s.
• pH adjusted with Hydrochloric acid or Sodium Hydroxide.

Indications:

For use as a supplement source of thiamine in dogs, cats and horses.

Applicable to Thiamine 200 - Dosage and Administration:

For intravenous or intramuscular use in dogs, cats and horses. Dosage may be repeated daily as needed.

• Horse — 0.25 mL per 100 lbs. bodyweight
• Dog — 0.08 mL per 10 lbs. up to 0.25 mL max
• Cat — 0.04 mL per 5 lbs up to 0.1 mL max


THIAMINE 500

Each mL contains:

• Thiamine Hydrochloride 500mg
• Disodium Edetate 0.01%w/v
• Benzyl Alcohol 1.5%w/v
• Water for Injection q.s.
• pH adjusted with Hydrochloric acid or Sodium Hydroxide.

Applicable to Thiamine 500 - Dosage and Administration:

To be determined by the veterinarian. For intramuscular use.


Precautions:

Anaphylactogenesis to parenteral Thiamine HCI has been reported. Administer slowly and with caution in doses over 500 mg. Do not expose to excessive heat.

Warnings:

Anaphylactogenesis to parenteral thiamine has occurred. Administer slowly and with caution in doses over 0.25 mL (50mg)

Cautions:

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Store at room temperature, 15°-30°C (59°-86°F).

Presentation:

100mL amber glass vials.
